We were together for quite a while today. We had lunch and went to your condominium to watch a movie. Up, like our first date. As Carl and Ellie grew older, I couldn’t help but think about the future we may have ahead of us. Then I worked on some homework and you helped me. We went to my house afterwards and had some dinner: lasagna that your grandma cooked. It was delicious. Then you laid down on my lap for a while because you weren’t/aren’t feeling well. I hate it when you’re sick, but I love taking care of you. As you laid half asleep, I put this song on. The last few lines played and I sang them to you as you woke up:

Ridiculous amount of cheesiness, but you tend to make that side of me come out.
